Research Program

Scientific Vision

Theme A

Macromolecules & Biologic Stabilization

Synthesizing macromolecules of controlled amphipathicity — polymers, nanoparticles, and hydrogels — from naturally derived lactone precursors. These are evaluated as excipients and stabilizers for proteins, nucleic acids, and cell-based products including cryopreservation.

Theme B

Peptide Self-Assembly for Cancer & Antimicrobials

Synthesizing self-assembled nanoparticles, fibers, and hydrogels from peptide-based precursors. These are evaluated for immunomodulatory, antimicrobial, and drug delivery efficacies, with a primary focus on breast cancer models.
